Uganda airlines launches flight rom Kampala straight to Johannesburg

The Uganda airlines has today morning launched a new flight schedule from Uganda to South Africa. This flight will be the longest route of it’s intracontinental flights and will see the famed Bombardier ply the Southern skies four times a week.

The flights are expected to take four hours from Uganda to South Africa unlike the usual two hours.

The inaugural flight was flagged off by the Ministry of works PS Bageya Waiswa alongside the South African high commissioner to Uganda HE LS Mollo.

By 3pm the Ugandan aircraft had gracefully touched down at the OR Tambo airport in South Africa.

People from both countries expressed their excitement at this new development. This is because these direct flights will ease the burden of transport.

Besides,this is also expected to boost commercial and bilateral ties between the two countries. There are lots of Ugandans in South Africa doing business from there and this will likely boost their ventures.
